Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer to work to work at the forefront of our cloud modernization within our Credit & Verification Services.
You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Director Engineering.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Architect and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules
- Provision and manage resilient & scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices, embedding security early in the development lifecycle.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and observability.
- Ensure infrastructure meets standards for security, compliance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building internal DevOps capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership in fulfilling non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and scalability.
Qualifications
- Qualified with a degree in B.Sc. in Computer Science, MCA in Computer Science, Bachelor of Technology in Engineering, or higher.
- 4–10 years of active hands-on experience in DevOps roles within software engineering.
- Proven experience in building and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in DevSecOps practices.
- Automation-first mindset – consistently seeks opportunities to automate manual tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce operational overhead.
Required Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in setting up CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Harness, Gitlab Actions, GitHub Actions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
- Deep understanding and experience working with networking including IP addressing, DNS, routing, firewalls, and WAFs.
- Strong Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation and tooling.
- Experience with Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms, Amazon EKS preferred.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and IAM policy design.
- Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Desirable & Useful skills:
- Experience with Gitlab, Github actions.
- Experience with CHEF, ANSIBLE.
- Experience with server-less architectures.
- Exposure to AI/ML tools and their integration into DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimisation strategies.
- AWS Certifications (e.g. Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
- Understanding and experience with Generative AI (GenAI) in DevSecOps and software engineering context.
