We are seeking a highly organized and creatively driven Sampling Coordinator / Fashion Merchandiser with a strong background in Indian ethnic and high-fashion garments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with a designer label and a deep understanding of luxury fabrics, embroidery techniques, and the sampling-to-production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sampling processes from design concept to final prototype
- Work closely with designers, artisans, and production teams
- Source materials and manage vendor relationships
- Oversee fittings, fabric selection, and embellishments
- Maintain detailed records of samples and track timelines
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in ethnic fashion or high-end Indian designer wear
- Strong eye for detail, color, and fabric
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
