Job Title: Sales Representative

Job Purpose:
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets by promoting the company’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Promote and explain the features, benefits, and applications of the company’s products (PVC, HDPE, UPVC, SWR, Sprinkler Pipes & Fittings).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, dealers, distributors, and end customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and proposals to clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the management.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, dispatch, accounts) to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company brand.
- Maintain proper documentation of sales visits, leads, and customer interactions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and target-focused.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (if any).
- Familiarity with the pipes and fittings industry (preferred but not mandatory).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Business/Marketing/Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales (preferably in building materials, construction, or pipes industry).
- Freshers with strong communication and willingness to learn may also be considered.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving license (preferred for field sales roles).
