Roles and Responsibilities of a Sales Promoter
The main role of a sales promoter is to drive sales and ensure a positive customer experience. Here are the key responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales
- Greeting Customers: Welcome every customer warmly and actively engage them to understand their needs.
- Providing Recommendations: Use your product knowledge to recommend the best footwear and accessories that match the customer's style and requirements.
- Upselling and Cross-selling: Encourage customers to buy complementary products like socks, shoe care kits, or insoles to increase the bill value.
- Processing Transactions: Accurately handle all sales, returns, and exchanges at the billing counter.
Product & Store Management
- Maintaining Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all new arrivals, promotions, and the features of different footwear categories and brands.
- Inventory & Display: Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Regularly check product displays and replenish items as needed.
- Store Cleanliness: Keep the store and all display areas clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
Performance & Teamwork
- Meeting Sales Targets: Work towards achieving both individual and team sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Customer Feedback: Actively listen to customer feedback and report it to the store manager to help improve service and product offerings.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the rest of the store team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 10.30 per week
