We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead and manage our operations in the Hyderabad territory. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in labeling, printing, or packaging solutions, a strong network within the industry, and proven leadership in sales strategy, business development, and marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Hyderabad territory.
Lead and manage the regional sales team, ensuring targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in labeling (self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, wraparound labels, etc.).
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
Marketing Management:
Plan and execute regional marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.
Collaborate with product development and technical teams to align marketing strategies with product offerings.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development of the company’s overall business strategy for South India, particularly Hyderabad and nearby industrial zones.
Monitor industry developments and regulatory requirements that affect the labeling sector.
Team Management:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
Establish clear performance metrics and regularly review team performance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and finance.
Client Relationship Management:
Oversee key account management to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Negotiate high-value contracts and pricing strategies with clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in sales & marketing within the labeling, packaging, or printing industry.
Strong understanding of labeling products, applications, and market dynamics.
Demonstrated success in managing large teams and driving regional sales growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of labeling technologies like flexographic, digital, or offset printing.
Familiarity with ERP and CRM tools (SAP, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
