Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Manager to lead our raw material sales operations within the Pharmaceutical, Home Care, and Personal Care industries. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Excipients and APIs, a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to develop strong client relationships with formulation scientists and procurement teams. This role requires both commercial acumen and technical insight to drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and deliver exceptional customer value across a defined region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and region-specific plans that align with company goals. Analyze market potential and prioritize high-opportunity accounts to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
Build, strengthen, and sustain strong professional relationships with clients in the pharmaceutical, home care, and personal care sectors. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met with high levels of responsiveness and service.
- Technical Engagement:
Regularly meet with R&D professionals, formulation scientists, and procurement teams to introduce our range of raw materials. Understand technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions based on formulation compatibility and performance.
- Consultative Selling:
Provide technical guidance and product knowledge to clients during the decision-making process. Assist customers in selecting the right excipients or APIs tailored to their formulation and production needs.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence:
Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, pricing trends, and product launches. Translate insights into actionable plans to stay ahead in a highly competitive market.
