We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Staff for our sweets and savories retail outlets. The role involves engaging customers, understanding their preferences, and promoting our range of traditional Indian sweets and snacks through upselling, cross-selling, and suggestive selling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers courteously at the counter.
- Explain product details, ingredients, and freshness to encourage purchases.
- Upsell premium or festive special items to increase average bill value.
- Cross-sell complementary items (e.g., sweets with savories or beverages).
- Suggest suitable products based on customer preferences or occasions.
- Handle billing, packaging, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain product display and ensure stock availability.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate to management.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in food retail or counter sales preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Indian traditional sweets and snacks.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
