Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers.
- Maintain a well-organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism, utilizing strong phone etiquette when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales with a strong understanding of grocery store operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and stock control.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience in merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
