Job Title:Pathology Lab Technician
Job Location: Purnea, Bihar
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team in Purniea, Bihar. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the lab. Proficiency in operating various laboratory instruments is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct laboratory tests and procedures as required, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
2. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including:
- Microscope (for examining slides and samples)
- Spectrophotometer (for measuring absorbance and concentration)
- pH meter (for measuring pH levels)
- Autoclave (for sterilization)
- Basic knowledge of Chromatography techniques
3. Record and report test results accurately and efficiently.
4. Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
5. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or a related field.
2. Relevant experience in a pathology lab setting.
3. Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments, including Microscope, Spectrophotometer, pH meter, and Autoclave.
4. Basic knowledge of Chromatography techniques.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS).
2. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control measures.
3. Familiarity with histopathology and microbiology techniques.
