Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Survey Engineer with a background in civil engineering or surveying. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of project preparation, quantity estimation, and modern survey techniques, along with proven experience in government infrastructure projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience, OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering/Surveying with minimum 8 years of experience
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with modern computer-based survey methods (e.g., Total Station, GPS, GIS tools).
- Mandatory: Experience in at least one similar government project executed within the last 3 years.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software/tools.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and site layouts.
- Knowledge of standard construction practices and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs based on drawings and site data.
- Conduct and verify field surveys using modern survey equipment.
- Assist in project budgeting and resource estimation.
- Support the engineering team in preparing technical documents for tenders and DPRs.
- Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
