- Inspecting materials, components, and finished products: This involves visual inspection, measurement, and testing to verify compliance with specifications.
- Operating inspection equipment: Using tools like calipers, micrometers, and electronic inspection equipment to assess quality.
- Identifying and documenting defects: Recording any deviations from specifications and providing detailed reports.
- Working with production teams: Communicating quality issues and collaborating on corrective actions to improve production processes.
- Maintaining inspection records: Keeping accurate records of inspections, tests, and results.
- Understanding and interpreting blueprints and specifications: Ensuring products adhere to design requirements.
