Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester Trainee to join our Quality Assurance team. As a trainee, you will work closely with senior QA engineers and developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of experience to start a career in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and execution of test cases and test scripts.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.

• Participate in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and test coverage.

• Execute manual and automated test scenarios.

• Support in maintaining test documentation and reports.

• Learn and apply QA best practices, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).

• Familiarity with testing concepts such as functional testing, regression testing, and defect lifecycle.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and a keen interest in software quality.

• Basic knowledge of any bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.

• Exposure to any automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
