Role Overview
We are seeking a Python Django Intern who has a good understanding of the Django framework, REST APIs, HTML, and CSS. As part of our development team, you will work closely with senior developers, gaining hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using Python and Django.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Work with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in coding standards.
- Support the team in database management and queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Assist in deploying applications on test and live servers.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Python programming fundamentals.
- Django framework basics (Models, Views, Templates, Migrations).
- Understanding of REST API concepts and development.
- HTML5 and CSS3 for front-end development.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), DigitalOcean, Heroku, or similar services.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
