Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings in terms of quality, price, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing costs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as production, logistics, and finance to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information, and prepare reports on purchasing activities.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect the quality of goods received and resolve any disputes with suppliers regarding product quality or delivery issues.
