Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely supply.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
Coordinate with the production, design, and stores teams to ensure material availability as per project timelines.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.
Maintain and update vendor database and purchase records.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations in purchased goods.
Track inventory levels and initiate timely reorders.
Handle import/export documentation (if required).
Requirements:
Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of sourcing materials for sheet metal fabrication, stainless steel products, and modular furniture.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software, and documentation handling.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and meet deadlines.
