The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services required by the company. This role ensures that procurement activities are cost-effective, timely, and aligned with organizational quality standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value.
Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores/warehouse team to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Conduct market research to stay updated on price trends and product availability.
