Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews for patients.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and stress management.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other allied health teams for multidisciplinary care planning.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of patient progress and clinical interventions.
- Provide psychological support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Design and facilitate psychoeducational workshops, support groups, and wellness programs.
- Offer crisis intervention support when needed.
- Participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and departmental reviews.
- Contribute to awareness campaigns and mental health outreach initiatives organized by the hospital.
- Stay updated with best practices and emerging research in psychology.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (M.Phil./M.Sc./MA) in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology from a recognized university.
- Valid RCI registration (if Clinical Psychologist).
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in psychological testing and therapeutic techniques.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple cases effectively.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience working in a multi-specialty or tertiary care hospital setting.
- Knowledge of regional languages, especially Hindi, is an added advantage.
- Comfortable working with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
