Job Title: Production Supervisor

Industry: Manufacturing (Formwork experience – maximum 1 year in current role)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage daily production operations at our manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production processes, team supervision, and shop floor management, preferably from a core manufacturing environment. Candidates with a maximum of 1 year of experience in the formwork industry (in the current role only) will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily targets.
- Lead a team of operators and technicians on the shop floor.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machines, materials).
- Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor production schedules, resolve issues, and report deviations.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and shift activities.
- Ensure timely communication with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and Stores.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Proven experience in supervising production teams.
- Maximum 1 year of experience in the formwork industry (current role only).
- Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of production processes and machinery.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
