Operations & Production
- Supervise and coordinate daily quarrying, drilling, blasting, crushing, and screening operations.
- Monitor production output to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dumpers, and crushers.
- Optimize crusher plant performance by monitoring feed, output size, and material quality.
People Management
- Supervise operators, drivers, technicians, and other site staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training to workers.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain worker discipline.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and accident prevention measures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with statutory environmental regulations and quarry permits.
Maintenance & Equipment Management
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance of crushers and heavy equipment.
- Maintain logs for equipment running hours, repairs, and spare part usage.
- Minimize downtime through proactive monitoring of equipment performance.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure aggregates meet required quality specifications for size, gradation, and cleanliness.
- Maintain proper documentation of quarry licenses, blasting approvals, and compliance reports.
- Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and regulatory agencies as required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports (tonnage, material dispatched, machine utilization, fuel consumption, etc.).
- Track inventory of raw materials, finished aggregates, explosives, and consumables.
- Report incidents, near-misses, and breakdowns promptly.
