Position: Production Shift In charge – Polymer Compounding

About the Role:
We are hiring a Production Shift In charge to supervise and manage day-to-day operations of our polymer compounding lines during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering background with experience in managing manufacturing processes in plastics or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production of Nylon 6, Nylon 66, and PBT compounds
- Ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Operate and monitor extrusion, blending, and pelletizing machinery
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth workflow
- Record shift-wise production data, downtime, and raw material consumption
- Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency
- Train and supervise shift operators and technicians
Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years experience in a plastic/polymer/chemical manufacturing setup
- Knowledge of compounding, extrusion lines, and production KPIs is a plus
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Willing to work in rotational shifts
