Responsibilities
A Garment Production Manager is responsible for various aspects of the production process, including:
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and managing production plans and schedules to meet deadlines and optimize resources.
- Operations Management: Supervising daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, and implementing process improvements.
- Quality Control: Ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing quality control programs.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Overseeing inventory, supply chain logistics, and managing supplier relationships.
- Team Leadership and Management: Leading and supervising production teams, ensuring a safe work environment, and conducting performance reviews.
- Collaboration: Liaising with various departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- Several years of experience in apparel production or manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage production processes.
- Strong understanding of textile production and relevant standards.
- Experience with process improvement and production management software is beneficial.
