Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Product Trainer to design and deliver impactful training programs that enhance product knowledge and drive performance across the organization. This role will focus on onboarding new hires, upskilling existing team members, and ensuring supervisors and customer-facing teams stay aligned with evolving product features, processes, and best practices. The Product Trainer will also build engaging training materials, conduct product knowledge assessments, and maintain comprehensive training reports.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Hire & Product Onboarding -
- Lead product-focused onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Deliver training on product features, use cases, systems, and workflows.
- Ensure smooth integration into company tools, culture, and product vision.
- Conduct assessments, quizzes, and role-plays to measure understanding.
2. Ongoing Training Interventions -
- Collaborate with Product, Support, and Sales teams to identify knowledge or performance gaps.
- Design targeted refresher sessions, product updates, and skill-enhancement modules. Track pre- and post-training metrics to measure learning impact.
3. Product Knowledge Assessments -
- Develop and update product knowledge tests for both frontline and supervisory staff.
- Conduct Supervisor Readiness evaluations, ensuring leadership has deep product expertise. Continuously revise assessments to reflect product enhancements or process changes.
4. Process, Policy, and Product Updates -
- Stay up to date on product launches, policy updates, and system enhancements.
- Conduct timely refresher training sessions for relevant stakeholders. Partner with Product, Process, and Compliance teams to ensure content accuracy.
5. Reporting & Analytics -
- Maintain dashboards for training coverage, participation, and outcomes.
- Track and report on learning progress, scores, and training effectiveness. Provide actionable insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
6. Content Development -
- Create engaging, interactive training content using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Apply Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model to measure training success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and product accuracy.
- Leverage modern tools (LMS platforms, multimedia, simulations) to drive engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Business, or related preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in product or training roles, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or customer service environments.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Exposure to Quality Assurance (QA) and performance improvement frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
