Job Title: Principal Product Designer

About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Designer who can lead and execute design across early-stage startups. You will translate early concepts into functional, user-centric products, collaborating closely with founders, product managers, and engineers. This role requires setting a high design standard, building scalable design systems, and ensuring every product is both usable and delightful from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design process for multiple early-stage products—from research and ideation to developer handoff.
- Collaborate with startup founders, product managers, and engineers to co-create product vision and strategy.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile platforms.
- Establish and maintain reusable design systems and visual guidelines.
- Rapidly iterate designs based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Support venture pitches and product storytelling through compelling visuals and prototypes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design for digital products (web + mobile).
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design execution (user research, wireframes, prototyping, UI).
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, or similar).
- Experience working directly with product managers, engineers, and founders to shape product vision.
- Previous experience in product companies (B2B preferred).
- Formal education in design (B.Des, M.Des, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design systems, and usability best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring or overseeing junior designers or contractors.
- Familiarity with AI tools and co-pilots that enhance design productivity.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
