Job Title: Primary ICT Facilitator
Department: Primary School
Reports To: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Job Purpose:
To facilitate engaging and age-appropriate ICT learning experiences for primary students, integrating digital tools and computational thinking into the curriculum, and fostering digital literacy and responsible technology use.
Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning:
- Plan and deliver ICT lessons for Grades 1 to 5 in alignment with school curriculum standards.
- Introduce students to computer basics, educational software, coding fundamentals (e.g., Scratch), digital art, typing skills, and internet safety.
- Integrate technology into other subject areas to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Design project-based learning experiences to build problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Cater to different learning styles using differentiated instruction and digital tools.
Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to update and develop an ICT curriculum tailored to primary learners.
- Incorporate new technologies and software tools into lesson planning.
- Design assessments to track student progress and provide feedback.
Digital Citizenship & Safety:
- Teach students safe, ethical, and responsible use of technology.
- Promote awareness around cyberbullying, privacy, and digital footprints.
Technical Facilitation & Support:
- Support students and teachers with basic troubleshooting and use of devices (laptops, tablets, interactive boards, etc.).
- Assist in the use of educational apps, platforms, and LMS tools.
Professional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with homeroom and subject teachers to integrate technology into classroom activities.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, ICT showcases, and training workshops.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate student records, reports, and portfolios of digital work.
- Provide regular updates to parents on student progress and development in ICT.
Skills & Qualifications: Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/ICT Education or a relevant field.
- B.Ed. or teaching certification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching ICT at the primary level.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of primary-level ICT tools, coding platforms (e.g., Scratch Jr, Blockly), and educational software.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and classroom technology integration.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage young learners and foster a love for technology.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
