Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Press Machine Operator to operate and maintain press machines for metal stamping, forming, or punching processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical or hydraulic press machines and be able to read basic engineering drawings and measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic press machines according to job specifications.
- Load raw materials and feed parts into the machine.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations.
- Perform regular inspection of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to improve performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment at all times.
- Record production data and report issues to the supervisor.
- Work in coordination with the production and quality team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a press machine operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with sheet metal, metal forming, or stamping operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier Caliper, Micrometer).
- Good physical condition and ability to stand for long hours.
- Understanding of safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, or other lean manufacturing practices.
- Experience in automobile or engineering industry preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
- Working Days - 6 days(Monday to Saturday)
