##Job Summary
The Pre-Sales / Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). This role will focus on developing and presenting solutions for datacenter infrastructure and cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
##Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop technical solutions that meet their requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to demonstrate product capabilities and value propositions.
- Create and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to prospective customers.
- Analyze customer requirements and design comprehensive solutions encompassing datacenter infrastructure and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop detailed solution architectures, including diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), and implementation plans.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective, aligning with industry best practices.
- Lead the preparation and submission of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring accurate and compelling documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and inputs for proposal development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals that address customer needs and showcase the company’s capabilities.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in datacenter and cloud technologies, including trends, products, and best practices.
- Provide technical training and support to internal sales teams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for datacenter and cloud infrastructure, providing guidance and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
- Gather and document customer feedback to inform product development and improve solution offerings.
- Assist in the development of case studies, whitepapers, and other marketing materials to highlight successful implementations and customer success stories.
##Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on datacenter and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or solution architect role, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Strong understanding of datacenter technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Proficiency with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware, Microsoft) are a plus.
