- Roles and Responsibilities
1. Design and Development of Automotive type component s, converters, inverters for HVAC & Transport Refrigeration systems.2. Hands on experience in developing component DFMEA and test plan development and execution.3. Create detailed documentation of power Electronic components, including detailed specification drawings and Application Specification Documents.4. Co-ordination of any required regulatory testing of Electrical / Electronic solutions at external agencies, including HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) testing, as required per regulatory standards 5. 5+ years experience in electrical Product design and development.6. Knowledge and ability to work within New Product Development (NPD) Process, with innate understanding of documented prerequisites and Milestone deliverables.7. Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and protocols applicable to mobile AC/DC voltage systems. 8. Able to perform Modelling and simulation of electrical components using Matlab / Dymola tool.
- Required Skills
1. Should have Experience in design and development of Electrical & Power electronics components like converter, inverter modules, battery charger based on the requirements 2. Prior Experience of component qualification programs and new product development in an automotive/ machinery environment is a distinct advantage. 3. Experience in developing electrical components Temperature sensors, actuators, solenoids, motors, Drives, batteries, Contactors and knowledge of Analog circuits, Protection circuits, Controller hardware is an advantage. 4. Proficient in Modlling and simulation of electrical components. 5. Experience in design and debug of embedded microprocessor control systems desired. 6. Knowledge and experience of control systems and software testing and debug an advantage. 7. Capable of developing and executing test plans, interpreting test data, and developing and driving relevant corrective measures where necessary. 8. Previous experience in New Product Development (NPD) process, DFMEA, 6 Sigma, are desirable. 9. Apply systematic problem-solving skills and investigate product Quality and Reliability issues to find root cause and permanent corrective action design change recommendations. 10. Should Knowledge in PLM and Windchill is an advantage 11. Experience in Modelling and simulation would be advantage. 12. Exposure on Hardware design using Alitum would be beneficial
