Job Summary:
We are looking for a Political Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian politics, current affairs, and the ability to craft compelling, factual, and engaging political content for various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, and press releases.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and write accurate and engaging articles on political news, events, campaigns, and personalities.
- Draft speeches, press releases, and official communication for political campaigns or leaders.
- Create content strategies to support political campaigns or public awareness initiatives.
- Write SEO-optimized blogs, social media posts, and magazine content.
- Conduct fact-checking and ensure all content is aligned with political positioning and messaging.
- Monitor current events and trends in local, national, and global politics.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and digital teams to develop multimedia content.
- Maintain consistency in tone and style across all communication.
- Handle sensitive political topics with discretion, balance, and neutrality as required.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong grasp of Indian political landscape and current affairs.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Hindi and/or English.
- Ability to write content under tight deadlines.
- Creative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in using content management systems and basic knowledge of SEO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate in Journalism, Political Science, Mass Communication, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in Political Content Writer is preferred.
- Multilingual writing ability (especially in regional Indian languages) is an advantage.
