Responsibilities:
Prepare and update piping layouts, isometrics, and sketches based on site conditions and redlines.
Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and identify clashes or constructability issues.
Assist in developing and verifying field routing of piping systems based on as-built conditions.
Support the resolution of technical queries (TQs), field change requests (FCRs), and RFIs related to piping design.
Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC, and engineering to ensure alignment between design and installation.
Assist in pipe support detailing, ensuring proper placement and compliance with engineering standards.
Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting (preferred), or equivalent experience.
Piping design experience, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar design software; familiarity with isometric and 3D model reviews.
Strong understanding of piping materials, fittings, standards (ASME, API, etc.), and fabrication practices.
Previous field experience in construction support or brownfield modification work is highly desirable.
