We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. The role involves dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on proper medicine usage, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting overall pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications with accuracy.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure safe and effective use.
- Provide patient counseling on dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, stocks, and controlled substances.
- Ensure compliance with Drug Control Act and Pharmacy Council regulations.
- Assist in stock management, ordering, and checking expiry of medicines.
- Support physicians and healthcare staff with drug information and guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
- Handle customer queries with professionalism and care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) (Mandatory).
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Prior experience in retail/clinical pharmacy preferred (freshers may also apply).
- Strong knowledge of medicines, interactions, and legal requirements.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule
