Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our team at a reputed CBSE school in Sarjapur, Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and inspire senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 11 & 12 as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and learning activities to ensure academic excellence.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support to students as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and maintain records.
- Encourage student participation in Math-related extracurricular activities, Olympiads, and competitions.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc./M.A.) in Mathematics
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a CBSE school preferred
- Strong command over subject and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and techniques
