Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in periodontal disease management and treatment, as well as experience in various dental procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a friendly and professional environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including performing dental extractions and root canal therapy.
- Utilize advanced techniques in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform oral surgeries and prosthodontics as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in periodontics, including medical imaging and infection control protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental clinic or office setting is essential, with familiarity in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix being highly desirable.
- Strong background in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Experience in endodontics, dental fabrication, and general dentistry will be beneficial for this role.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and provide exceptional patient care is crucial.
