As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in upholding the company's strength and resilience. Job Responsibilities:
- Execute daily business as usual (BAU) tasks/activities in the most efficient and highly controlled framework-oriented environment.
- Exhibit knowledge on Signature Validation for Trade/Payment instructions received from Clients.
- Verify beneficiary account details during Callback for Outgoing payments from JPM.
- Publish and review daily/weekly performance metrics pertaining to the function and identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels or expected behavior.
- Ensure follow-up and escalate for all aging items.
- Ensure timely review and certification of CFS Middle Office Authentication function Procedures, Operating Service Agreements, and Business Resiliency plans.
- Review and improve productivity benchmarks on an ongoing basis.
- Participate actively in multiple forums such as Product, Client Service, Strategy to analyze the impact based on market changes and drive Tech Initiatives to meet client expectations and internal functional goals.
- Create strong resiliency and backups within the team by active involvement in day-to-day activities and training initiatives.
- Work in partnership with Operations Control Management/Risk teams for performing QA testing, MIS, and Internal and External Audits
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Excellent prior custody & fund services, markets or prime brokerage operational experience along with managing staff
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls
- Ability to manage through a changing business landscape
- Candidate must have a control focused agenda, and a thorough understanding of program/project risk
- Anticipate issues and actively drive initiatives to ensure results
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments
- Proactive in identifying and escalating issues. Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle in Custody
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent
Proficiency in MS excel and an ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint is essential. Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Knowledge of Data tools is preferred
- Subject matter expertise in Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, Derivatives preferred
