Summary: As a Packaged/SaaS Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Software as a Service solutions that align with the overarching enterprise architecture. Your typical day will involve applying SaaS principles such as multi-tenancy and modularity, defining customization limits, and guiding platform use to ensure optimal performance and maintainability. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the solutions meet both technical and business requirements, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of the SaaS solutions to ensure they meet established standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Data Architecture and Modelling: Designing and implementing scalable MDM architectures (Profisee), including data layer design, metadata management, data storage and lifecycle, analytics and ML integrations, data security and semantic models within MS Fabric. - Lakehouse Architecture: Implementing modern data Lakehouse architectures, potentially utilizing Delta Lake for data versioning, ACID transactions, and schema enforcement. - Microsoft Fabric: Deep understanding of Fabric's core components like OneLake, Synapse Data Engineering, Synapse Data Warehousing, Semantic model and Power BI. - Data Governance: Experience Implementing Data Quality Frameworks with Purview for data governance, including data cataloguing, data loss prevention, and auditing. - Programming Languages: Strong skills in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis & optimization. - Data Integration: Experience with various data integration patterns and tools, (ETL) using Fabric data pipelines / Data Flow Gen2 and monitoring tools for performance - Documentation all design standards and processes. - Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and developers.
