We are seeking an experienced Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) Implementation Consultant to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Oracle FCCS solutions for financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and financial close processes.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in consolidation accounting, statutory reporting, GAAP/IFRS compliance, financial close automation, and data integration with ERP systems. This role requires hands-on technical configuration, business process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure smooth consolidation and reporting cycles.
1. Oracle FCCS Implementation & Configuration
Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle FCCS for financial consolidation and close processes.
Configure FCCS dimensions, metadata, security, and consolidation rules based on business requirements.
Develop intercompany elimination rules, ownership structures, and multi-currency translation logic.
Configure journals, cash flow reporting, and automated consolidations in FCCS.
Customize forms, dashboards, task lists, and Smart View reports for financial users.
2. Consolidation & Financial Close Process Optimization
Work closely with finance and accounting teams to optimize month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
Implement automated close processes, including roll-forwards, equity pickup, and minority interest calculations.
Ensure GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance in financial reporting and consolidation.
Develop financial statement reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis reports.
3. Data Integration & System Management
Configure Data Management (DM/FDMEE) for data integration from ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, SAP, Workday, etc.).
Develop ETL processes, data transformation rules, and validation scripts for accurate consolidation data.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and proper mapping between source systems and FCCS.
Optimize FCCS performance, data loads, and system scalability.
4. Business Rules & Calculation Development
Develop and optimize business rules, calculation scripts, and Groovy scripts for complex consolidation logic.
Implement multi-GAAP reporting, tax provisioning, and account reclassification logic.
Configure currency translation rules, ownership structures, and entity consolidation logic.
5. User Training & Post-Implementation Support
Conduct end-user training sessions for finance, accounting, and audit teams.
Develop user manuals, best practices documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and performance tuning post-go-live.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Management
Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure business alignment.
Support UAT, system testing, and go-live activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FCCS with other EPM applications (EPBCS, ARCS, EDMCS).
Manage project milestones, risks, and deliverables following Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Oracle FCCS Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting certification (a plus).
Experience & Technical Skills
3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle FCCS implementation and consolidation accounting.
Strong expertise in financial close, consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency reporting.
Experience in configuring ownership structures, equity pickups, and minority interest calculations.
Hands-on experience in business rules, Groovy scripting, MDX queries, and calculation scripts.
Proficiency in Smart View, Data Management (DM/FDMEE), and Essbase cube optimization.
Experience integrating FCCS with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, etc.).
Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and ETL tools for data integration.
Functional & Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of financial reporting, statutory reporting, and multi-GAAP compliance (IFRS, US GAAP, Local GAAPs).
Experience working with finance and accounting teams to design consolidation processes.
Industry experience in banking, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or IT services is a plus.

Strong communication and stakeholder management to collaborate with finance and IT teams.
Ability to document technical and functional requirements effectively.
