Operations Analyst
Storable is looking for an Operations Analyst to coordinate the operational components of the product development organization with a focus on process improvements, automation of operational tasks, and supporting departmental training.
As an Operations Analyst at Storable, you must be passionate about enabling cross-functional, highly skilled engineering teams to deliver quality software in a fast-moving environment. You are naturally driven to look for opportunities for improvement while ensuring minimal disruption to delivery. You should be comfortable working in an open-ended environment where roles are flexible, everything is changing, and communication is essential.
What you’ll do every day:
- Utilize project management skills to help track hiring forecasts across all product groups Communicate regularly with leadership on hiring forecasts and status of contractors
Facilitate the onboarding/offboarding process for contractors and coordinate with vendor contacts - Support the onboarding process for Product and Engineering departments by tracking new hires, keeping training up to date, and enhancing the onboarding experience Identify opportunities for automation in operational processes and tools
- Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
- Assist with the management of operational tools and verify the accuracy of reporting outputs
- Support the integration of acquired companies into Storable’s Product & Engineering departments within the goal timeframe with low disruption to teams
- Develop training for teams on Storable best practices
What you need to bring to the table:
- 3+ years of experience in an operational role, preferably in a technology organization
- Exemplary verbal and written communication
- Ability to balance competing priorities while remaining organized
- Ability to build strong foundations of partnerships and accountability
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with extreme attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum and Kanban) and DevOps principles and practices
- Ability to identify problems and present solutions to functional leadership with little to no guidance
