We are looking for a qualified and passionate Sports Nutritionist who understands the unique dietary needs of growing athletes and can help educate both students and their parents on building healthy, sustainable habits.As our Sports Nutritionist, you won’t just be shaping menus; you'll be shaping mindsets. You’ll educate, empower, and partner with families to build lifelong healthy habits, and play a key role in the long-term success and retention of our student-athletes.
Role Overview
The Sports Nutritionist will play a vital role in designing and implementing age-appropriate, sport-specific nutrition programs. The role includes educating young athletes on healthy eating, supporting performance goals, and engaging parents to build a nutrition-positive culture that promotes long-term commitment to both sports and well-being.
Key Responsibilities1. Nutrition Planning & Support
- Create personalized nutrition plans for student-athletes based on age, sport, training intensity, and health status.
- Provide guidance on meal timing, hydration, recovery nutrition, and supplementation (if needed).
- Monitor athletes' nutritional habits and adjust plans as needed based on growth, performance, and feedback from coaches.
2. Nutrition Education for Students & Parents
- Conduct regular workshops and interactive sessions for students on topics like energy fueling, recovery, hydration, and immunity.
- Organize educational seminars for parents to help them understand the importance of nutrition in sports and overall development.
- Share practical, family-friendly food strategies to support healthy eating habits at home.
3. Long-Term Athlete Development
- Collaborate with coaches, sports psychologists, and physiotherapists to integrate nutrition into the academy’s overall athlete development model.
- Track athlete progress and provide nutrition-related input for performance reviews and retention strategies.
- Design seasonal nutrition plans to support different training cycles (off-season, pre-season, competition).
4. Food Environment & Safety
- Guide the development of healthy meal/snack offerings if the academy provides food.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and allergy protocols.
- Promote a positive, body-confident food culture that supports healthy relationships with eating.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Sports Nutrition, or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Sports Nutrition Specialist).
- 2+ years of experience working with children or adolescents in a sports or school setting.
- Strong knowledge of sports nutrition principles for growing athletes.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to simplify complex nutrition concepts into engaging, age-appropriate education.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
