Position: Nursing Superintendent
Location: ITM Hospital & Research Centre, Gwalior
Department: Nursing
Reports To: Medical Superintendent / Hospital Director
Experience Required: 10–15 years (with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory/leadership role)
Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred: NABH-accredited hospital experience)
Role Overview:
The Nursing Superintendent will be responsible for overall administration, supervision, and management of nursing services in the hospital. The role ensures quality patient care, compliance with hospital protocols, training of nursing staff, and coordination with clinical and non-clinical departments.
Key Responsibilities:1. Administration & Supervision
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations across all hospital wards and departments.
- Manage duty rosters, leave schedules, and optimal staff deployment.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and NABH standards.
2. Patient Care & Quality Management
- Ensure high-quality nursing care, patient safety, and infection control practices.
- Monitor nursing performance and evaluate patient feedback to improve services.
- Ensure proper implementation of hospital SOPs, patient documentation, and medication protocols.
3. Staff Management & Training
- Lead, mentor, and motivate nursing staff for professional growth and performance improvement.
- Identify training needs and organize regular workshops and skill enhancement programs.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with doctors, consultants, and hospital management to streamline patient care.
- Participate in hospital committees for quality improvement, infection control, and accreditation.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on nursing performance, manpower, and resource utilization.

Salary Range:
₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
