The
Role:
· Understand
detailed requirements for upgrading existing networks, as well as
re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies
and growth.
· Resolve
network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone
access and performance globally.
· Participate
in telecommunications-related initiatives.
· Research
and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions.
· Supports
assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and
cost control; resource utilization and implementation.
· Support
for troubleshooting issue, identify issues and assist stakeholders in timely
resolution of same.
· Plan
and Assist installation of Data Center infrastructure to support present and
future Data Center requirements
· Assist
maintaining up to date documentation for Data Center Engineering function
Requirements
Must Have Skills:
· Networking,
including LAN/WAN, Firewalls, wireless and Security technologies.
· Experience
with TCP/IP protocol communications.
· In-depth
knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, F5 Load balancers, proxies,
TCP/IP, and related technologies.
· Deep
understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL, NAT).
· Experience
with cloud-native and hybrid network security solutions.
· Proficiency
in creating and managing site-to-site VPNs and cloud interconnects.
· Experience
with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
· Advanced
experience with network monitoring
- Experience in SD-WAN deployment and support,
with a focus on Palo alto
