- Prepared components (cleaning, drying) before applying dye penetrant.
- Applied visible or fluorescent penetrant and developer to identify discontinuities.
- Interpreted indications and reported findings with photographic evidence and proper documentation.
- Maintained testing equipment and consumables.
- Worked under the supervision of Level III or Quality Engineer.
- Ensured strict adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.
- Carried out inspections on materials like welds, castings, forgings, and machined parts.
Qualifications
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field
- Certification:
- ASNT/ISNT Level II in PT (Penetrant Testing)
