Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Nail Technician to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care, a creative eye for design, and a commitment to excellent hygiene and client satisfaction. You will provide a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail art, gel and acrylic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manicures and pedicures with precision and care
- Apply gel, acrylic, shellac, and other nail enhancements
- Create custom nail art based on client requests
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe work environment
- Keep updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products
- Provide excellent customer service, including client consultations
- Recommend appropriate nail care products and services
- Maintain records of appointments and client preferences
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a nail technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of sanitation and sterilization procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, if needed
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with advanced nail techniques (e.g., ombre, encapsulated designs)
- Familiarity with nail drill tools and electric file usage
- Retail or upselling experience in a salon setting
