About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate MYP Coordinator (Humanities & English) to lead the Middle Years Programme (MYP) with a focus on SST and English curriculum. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the IB framework and a proven track record in academic coordination and curriculum implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of the MYP curriculum in SST and English.
- Guide teachers in designing interdisciplinary units and ensuring alignment with IB standards.
-Support teaching teams with instructional strategies and classroom management aligned with IB pedagogy.
-Coordinate IB documentation, assessments, and reporting requirements.
-Facilitate parent-teacher communication and engagement on curriculum matters.
-Lead professional development sessions for faculty.
-Act as the point of contact between the school and IB for MYP-related matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or related field
-Certified IB MYP Training (preferred)
- 5–7 years of teaching experience in SST/English at MYP level
-Strong knowledge of the IB framework, with coordination experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills-
