Job Description:
MetaWyse Enterprises is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 3D modeling, simulation, and drafting using industry-standard tools like SolidWorks, CATIA V5, and ANSYS, along with familiarity in AutoCAD and other design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and CATIA V5
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS
- Create detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation in AutoCAD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for prototyping and product development
- Optimize designs based on manufacturability, cost, and functionality
- Revise designs based on testing, feedback, or customer requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA V5, and ANSYS (Structural/Thermal analysis)
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and other 2D/3D design tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Good communication and teamwork skills
