Lead Transformation of Material Scheduling Operations: Collaborate with Platform Procurement, OU Technical, and CPS SC-related departments to drive the transformation of total material scheduling operations. This encompasses import processes, communication with both domestic and international suppliers, subcontractor management, and logistics operations. Responsibilities include not only traditional material scheduling but also leveraging new digital processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy as a change agent. The materials involved are not limited to specific categories but encompass all types.
Overall Responsibility for Raw Material Operations: Maintain competitive inventory levels in the procurement pipeline, including suppliers' stock and production, through close and proactive communication with suppliers. Build and sustain trust-based relationships with suppliers.
Pursue Operational Excellence and Value Creation: Lead the pursuit of operational excellence and value creation in the scheduling process, involving stakeholders such as suppliers and CPS operations.
Annual Planning: Develop annual plans for raw material purchasing and inventory levels to manage budgeted operational costs (warehouse/freight) and avoid unexpected increases.
Maintain Scheduling Operations: Ensure that scheduling operations meet corporate requirements (KORE, ISO, CAD, etc.) on a day-to-day basis.
- Execute mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity at the plant level (risk analysis, supply continuity taskforce leadership, mitigation plan follow-up, related reporting).
- Execute MRB and AOS routines to guarantee inventory health and mitigate write-offs.
- Set up materials policies in the system to reflect the current supply state and keep inventory stock at safe levels.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of vendor complaints.
What you’ll do for us:
- Ensure the supply of materials (>250 SKUs) to customers.
- Review and execute MRP suggestions and complementary routines to ensure the smooth supply of assigned materials.
- Support the Materials Review Board (MRB) and Age of Stock (AOS) processes.
- Onboard new suppliers and develop/maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers by performing regular performance reviews and driving improvements.
- Seek productivity initiatives with CPS sites and suppliers related to lead time, lot size, pack size, and MOQs.
- Manage supplier quality and performance by submitting non-compliance reports.
- Review and manage master data and planning parameters in SAP.
- Weekly/Monthly update to Leadership team on the ingredient updates.
Complaint Handling
- Manage supplier’s quality and performance by submitting non-compliance report and following through till closure.
- Perform root-caused analysis with suppliers and internal parties and ensure corrective actions are in-placed and complete closure of issues.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Should have 5+ years’ experience in material planning.
- Experience with SAP, SAP Ariba, and related modules.
- Should have good skills with Analytical skills also Excel & Power Bi and related skills.
