- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the delivery and usage of materials as per project or production timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of materials in stock, in transit, and ordered.
- Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to track incoming materials and address any delivery issues or shortages.
- Coordinate with project/site managers, engineers, and contractors to understand material requirements and priorities.
- Inspect materials upon delivery to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Update material status reports and maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials as per safety and quality standards.
- Manage material returns, excess materials, and disposals as per company procedures.
- Support cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of material discrepancies.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and support procurement in resolving any supply chain issues.
