Crossed Hearts turns digital webcomics into beautiful print books. We need a Panelling Designer who understands the rhythm of manga/manhwa storytelling.
Role Overview:
Redesign webcomic panels for print, ensuring seamless flow and visual impact. Perfect for detail-oriented creatives who obsess over page turns and pacing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt digital webcomic panels into print-friendly layouts.
- Balance text, art, and whitespace for readability.
- Collaborate with artists/editors to preserve story intent.
- Experiment with creative layouts for special editions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
- Keen eye for visual hierarchy and pacing.
- Passion for comics (bonus if you create your own!).
- Openness to feedback and tight deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of manga/manhwa paneling traditions.
- Print design experience (bleed, margins, etc.).
