We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our steel fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, including rolling machines, shearing machines, bending machines, and CNC plasma cutting machines. The role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate rolling, shearing, bending, and CNC plasma cutting machines as per production requirements.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Set up machines, adjust parameters, and ensure proper alignment of materials.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating steel fabrication machinery (rolling, shearing, bending, CNC plasma).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication tolerances and quality standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹90.00 - ₹120.00 per hour
