Role Summary:
As a Logistic Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth coordination and execution of shipments — both inbound and outbound. You’ll be responsible for managing documentation, liaising with freight forwarders, customs, and transporters, and maintaining on-time deliveries of highly perishable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor all logistics operations related to fresh fruit imports and exports
- Handle shipping documentation (BL, invoice, packing list, phytosanitary certificates, etc.)
- Liaise with suppliers, shipping lines, customs agents, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with international trade and phytosanitary regulations
- Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders regularly
- Optimize delivery schedules and transportation costs
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics (preferably in import/export or fresh produce)
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and incoterms
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge is a plus
