Job Description – Line Producer – Delhi Based
We are looking for a Delhi-based Line Producer for an upcoming low-budget Indie feature film project.
This role is ideal for someone with strong production planning and budgeting skills, who can manage logistics efficiently and ensure smooth execution of the film from pre-production through post. The Line Producer will work closely with the Director and Producers to bring the creative vision to life within the set budget and timeline.
We're open to candidates with prior experience on short films, indie features, or student films, especially those who demonstrate practical understanding of production management.
Professionals with a background from film institutes like Whistling Woods, FTII, SRFTI, AAFT, etc. will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and cost estimation for the entire project
- Hiring and coordinating with cast, crew, vendors, and locations
- Managing day-to-day operations and logistics during the shoot
- Ensuring timely payments, rentals, and contract paperwork
- Tracking expenses and maintaining production accounts
- Solving on-ground logistical issues and ensuring shoot stays on schedule
Requirements:
- Based in Delhi NCR
- Prior experience as a line producer, production manager, or similar role in indie films or short projects
- Solid understanding of production budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with local crew, vendors, and shoot locations is a plus
- Film school background preferred
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and a good communicator
