A Steward primarily ensures cleanliness and proper service delivery in a food and beverage environment, including checking menus, serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean work area, and keeping records of services. Key responsibilities also involve reporting for duty well-groomed, attending briefings, and assisting with the overall customer dining experience and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery:Provide food and beverage services in a proper and empathetic manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work Environment:Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area, including the dining room, kitchen, and service areas.
- Pre-Service Duties:Check menus, take note of special instructions, and complete the "mis-end-place" (setting up the dining area) correctly before service begins.
- Post-Service Duties:Clear tables and service equipment, and properly hand over any relevant service records or information to the next shift.
- Communication:Communicate effectively with guests and supervisors, relaying any information or concerns as needed.
- Grooming:Adhere to a strict standard of personal presentation, including proper uniform, haircut, and personal hygiene.

- Food Handling: Experience in handling food in a corporate food and beverage setting.
